The Tipsy Fox Pub & Grill is a local sports pub and restaurant in the heart of Alliston. We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and experienced Bartender to join our team.

Our bartenders play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while providing fast, friendly, and accurate service. We’re looking for someone who works well under pressure, enjoys interacting with guests, and can thrive during busy sports games, live entertainment, and weekend nights.

Responsibilities

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Providing friendly and attentive service to bar guests
- Taking food and drink orders and accurately entering them into the POS system
- Following proper alcohol service and Smart Serve requirements
- Checking identification when required
- Maintaining proper portion and pour standards
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
- Restocking beer, liquor, wine, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies
- Handling cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Supporting servers by preparing drink orders promptly
- Completing opening, closing, and assigned side duties
- Maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards
- Working as part of a team during busy periods
- Following all restaurant policies and procedures

Qualifications




- Previous bartending or restaurant experience is preferred
- Valid Smart Serve certification is required
- Robust communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working busy evenings and sporting events
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be available for a combination of evenings, weekends, and holidays
