This position starts on September 25, 2026 and has a contract end date of June 30, 2027.

Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.

Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioral support as required by students and directed by teachers.

Minimum

Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun; possess strong planning and organizational skills while showing initiative ; family health coverage; school breaks and summers off; maternity leave top up benefit; secure pension plan; Living Sky School Division is proudly located on the shared territory of Treaty 6.
