Join Canadian Mental Health Association as a Behavioral Supports Nurse. This contract role in Parry Sound provides impactful services to older adults facing mental health challenges. As a Registered Practical Nurse with a focus on geriatric mental health, you will contribute to the Behavioral Supports Ontario Outreach Team.

Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating care plans, and providing supportive counseling to enhance the quality of life for clients and their families. Your active participation in inter-cooperative efforts will strengthen community relations and service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

- Complete nursing assessments to inform care strategies
- Design and implement effective care plans for clients




- Offer health teaching and supportive counseling sessions
- Document clinical activities according to standards

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Registered Practical Nurse certificate
- Experience with community mental health issues preferred
