Take charge of Beacon's application security as the first dedicated engineer, designing strategies to protect a diverse product portfolio. This position focuses on establishing security standards and embedding them within engineering teams.

In this leading role, you’ll develop and implement security protocols across application lifecycles at Beacon and its portfolio companies. Your responsibilities will include conducting threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and overseeing code reviews. You will drive the development of secure coding standards and directly influence project security strategies.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead security architecture reviews for product developments • Conduct security reviews for acquisitions and codebases • Manage end-to-end vulnerability management programs • Author guidelines for secure coding practices • Collaborate on incident response and remediation

Requirements: • Expertise in identity and access management design • Hands-on experience with securing applications in cloud settings • Strong coding and remediation capabilities • Proven ability to manage cross-team security projects • Experience with SAST, DAST, and CI/CD integration
