Join the Child and Youth Mental Health team in Kirkland Lake as a Registered Clinician. Provide essential psychotherapy and assessments for children and adolescents in need of support. In this full time, eighteen-month contract position, you will be pivotal in delivering therapy and support for behavioral, social, and emotional needs of youth and their families.
The right candidate will thrive in a cooperative, multi-disciplinary setting while applying clinical skills in children's mental health. Bilingualism in English and French is essential for fostering effective communication within the community. Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to youth
Conduct thorough clinical assessments for families
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
Support children's emotional and behavioral needs
Engage with families to promote overall well-being Requirements:
Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
Registration with the appropriate Ontario health college
Proven skills in children's mental health
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Minimum G2 driver’s license and access to your own vehicle Apply your expertise in mental health to support children and families in Kirkland Lake.
