Our client, Quidi Vidi Brewing Company, is looking for an experienced and passionate Brewhouse Lead to join their brewing team and help shape the next chapter of their growth.

Reporting to the Head Brewer, you'll play a key leadership role in brewing operations. What You'll Do

Lead Daily Brewing Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the brewhouse and ensure production plans are executed safely and efficiently.
- Plan and manage brewhouse staffing schedules to support operational needs.
- Lead, mentor, and support brewhouse team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Adapt brewing activities to meet changing production and packaging demands.

Champion Quality & Process Excellence
- Monitor product quality throughout every stage of production, from grain to glass.
- Ensure consistent adherence to brewing procedures, quality standards, and food safety requirements.




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the brewhouse and equipment.
- Identify production challenges and implement timely solutions to support continuous improvement.

Drive Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor brewing performance and provide updates on production results and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
- Stay current on brewing trends, techniques, and innovations, incorporating new ideas where appropriate.
- Support a culture of learning, development, and operational excellence.

Represent the Brand
- Serve as an ambassador for Quidi Vidi Brewing Company at industry events, tastings, promotional activities, and brewery functions.
- Share your passion for craft beer and help strengthen our reputation within the brewing community.

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of experience brewing and producing high-quality craft beer.
- Post-secondary education in brewing, brewery management, or a related discipline.
- Experience supervising, coaching, or leading teams within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of brewing operations, quality control, sanitation, and safety practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.




- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard workplace technology.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset (training and certification can be provided post-hire).

Work Environment This role operates within an active brewery environment and includes:

- Standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting throughout the workday.
- Regular lifting of up to 25 kg and occasional team lifting above 25 kg.
- Exposure to wet, cold, or humid conditions.
- Industrial equipment, ambient production noise, and brewing-related aromas.

Schedule

- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monday to Friday shifts ranging from early morning to late evening.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support operations
