- Coordinate and conduct in-depth audits of buildings and their components throughout the Québec region
- Collaborate with mechanical technicians and project managers
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Develop detailed inspection plans covering structures, exterior cladding, roofs, waterproofing systems, interior finishes, accessibility, and safety
- Gather and analyze plans, sketches, construction manuals, material specifications, and maintenance or renovation histories
- Conduct on-site surveys and assess the condition of architectural components
- Document deficiencies, required repairs, and deterioration, then classify issues according to their severity and urgency
- Prepare detailed inspection studies and reports with repair and improvement recommendations
- Participate in quality control of deliverables
- Estimate the value of architectural components
- Participate in various tasks related to the assessment and improvement of building infrastructure

Requirements

- College diploma in Architectural Technology, Cost Estimating, or Building Inspection
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Ability to assess repair and replacement costs for a building's architectural components
- Knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques
- Knowledge of building and infrastructure standards and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Advanced technical report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively




- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and stakeholders
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (an asset)
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills in a multidisciplinary team
- Recognized for thoroughness, initiative, and integrity
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to travel frequently to various locations throughout the province of Québec and occasionally outside Québec, approximately 75% of the time
