Halifax Cabinetry is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Cabinetmaker to join our small, quality-focused shop.

This position is ideally suited to a recent NSCC Cabinetmaking graduate looking to start their career in a professional custom cabinetry workplace. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and wants to continue developing their skills.

The Role

- Build custom residential cabinetry and millwork
- Operate shop equipment including a horizontal panel saw and edgebander
- Cut, assemble and prepare cabinetry for finishing
- Use hand tools and pneumatic tools
- Read and work from shop drawings
- Assist with cabinet installations on residential job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace
- Work independently while contributing to a small team

About Halifax Cabinetry We build custom residential cabinetry with a focus on quality, craftsmanship and service. We’re a small shop, which means you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in different stages of the process and develop a broad range of skills.

Craftsmanship comes first. We’re looking for someone who cares about doing things properly and takes pride in the finished product.

Compensation: Based on experience and skill level

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00AM - 12:00PM
