As a key team member in the Engineering & Public Works Department, you will perform various maintenance tasks, including preparing job sites and operating heavy equipment. Your expertise in road construction and maintenance, along with snow and ice control functions, will ensure protected and efficient road conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare job sites using cutsaws and jackhammers
• Operate equipment for asphalt compaction and paving
• Set up traffic control signage and flagging duties




• Conduct pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
• Perform snow and ice control using service trucks
Requirements:
• High school graduation plus 2 years' related experience
• Snow and Ice Removal Certification required
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence
• Ability to read engineering drawings and utility information
• Strong focus on safety in equipment operation
