Join Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust as a dedicated Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner within the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis. Deliver quality care and support to young adults facing their initial episode of psychosis. This role targets mental health specialists, including registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers, eager to make an impact.
You will guide service users aged 14 to 65 through assessment, intervention, and recovery phases over three years. Engage with a skilled, multidisciplinary team focused on partnership working and community integration. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct triage and assessment for service users
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the team
Coordinate therapeutic activities to support recovery
Offer expertise and advice to families and service users
Supervise unqualified staff to ensure high care standards Requirements:
Qualified qualification as Nurse, OT, or Social Worker
Experience with complex needs in mental health
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of the Mental Health Act and relevant legislation
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team Deliver compassionate care and support recovery journeys within Mersey Care’s progressive workplace.
