Join Pratt & Whitney Canada as an onsite Structural and Thermal Analyst. This role focuses on stress and thermal analysis for gas turbine engine static structures in Mississauga.
As a key player in the Static Structures team, you will conduct stress and thermal analysis, develop tests, and interpret results. You'll explore current simulation methods and contribute to integrated products from concept to certification. Mentoring less experienced staff is also a significant part of your responsibilities, ensuring knowledge transfer in this agile setting.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute stress and thermal analysis effectively
Develop and interpret material tests and results
Investigate field events and contribute to FMEA
Enhance simulation processes and standard work documents
Provide mentorship to junior team members
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Knowledge of stress analysis and material behavior
Experience in gas turbine engines is a plus
Understanding of engine design and certification is preferred
