The Community Specialist role requires compassion and dedication to help an adult participant thrive in their home environment. This full time position involves various shifts, and reliable transportation is essential. Your strengths in communication, boundary-setting, and relationship-building will significantly contribute to the well-being of those you serve, reinforcing a culture of care and community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide empathetic and direct care
• Foster meaningful relationships with individuals
• Communicate effectively with families and coworkers
• Assist participants in personal hygiene and care
• Create community connections for participants
Requirements:
• High School Diploma at minimum
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle
• Clear police information check
• Required First Aid Certification CPR Level C
• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies is an asset
