Duties

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix paints, primers, and clear coats accurately according to manufacturer specifications
- Apply paint using spray guns, power tools, and hand tools with precision and consistency
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, touch up as needed, and ensure a smooth, even finish
- Follow safety protocols by wearing protective gear and maintaining a clean work environment to prevent contamination
- Assist with minor vehicle repairs or mechanical tasks when necessary using hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge




- Lift heavy parts or equipment safely during the painting process or when handling vehicle components

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background with a focus on painting or refinishing
- Robust mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and repair processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment for detailed work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing large vehicle parts or equipment
- Knowledge of automotive painting techniques, color matching, and surface preparation
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and basic mechanic experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for color consistency and surface quality
