Yorkdale Auto Sales Ltd. – Barrie, ON

Yorkdale Auto Sales is looking for a motivated, personable, and customer-focused Automotive Salesperson to join our growing team.

We are an independent pre-owned vehicle dealership focused on providing quality vehicles and a straightforward, professional buying experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and is motivated to build a successful career in automotive sales.

Automotive sales experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional dealership experience
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles based on their needs, preferences, and budget
- Respond to phone, online, and walk-in inquiries
- Follow up with leads and prospective customers
- Schedule appointments and vehicle test drives
- Present vehicle features, options, history, and pricing clearly
- Assist customers throughout the sales and financing process
- Maintain accurate customer and lead information
- Follow up with customers after their purchase
- Build long-term customer relationships and generate referrals
- Help maintain vehicle presentation and showroom appearance
- Work collaboratively with management and other team members
- Maintain professional and ethical sales practices at all times

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, confident, and professional personality




- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
- Ability to follow up consistently and stay organized
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Automotive knowledge is an asset
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset
- OMVIC registration is an asset; candidates who are not currently registered may still be considered
- Willingness to learn and develop within the automotive industry
