We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry tasks, demonstrating proficiency in commercial construction projects. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing carpentry work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Completion of renovations/restoration/maintenance projects
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry tasks efficiently.
- Assemble and install structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to design requirements.
- Execute cabinet installation, siding application, and construction painting as needed.
- Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints, diagrams and plans
- Complying with all applicable safety regulations and paperwork
- Training and managing apprentices and subordinates
- Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
- Measuring, preparing, and building materials for jobs
- Repairing or renovating existing structures or furniture
- Collaborating with other construction experts such as other trades, project managers, engineers, and architects
- Doing demo work for diverse jobs
- Smaller concrete jobs
- Millwork modifications, repairs and replacements
- Wallboard patching and painting
- Familiar with wood and steel wall systems
- T-bar ceiling repairs and ceiling tile replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- General Carpentry Position – diverse work experience is a plus
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Strong ability to assemble various structures with precision.
- Experience in construction painting techniques for finishing touches on projects.
- Competence in cabinet installation processes for commercial spaces.
- Ability to be self-reliant/productive, will be working alone or pairs most often.

-Rotating weekend schedule

Pay: $36.00-$39.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
