Math Teaching Assistant Kumon West Shore - Langford

Kumon is the world's largest after-school learning program. We are currently seeking a part time Math Teaching Assistant at our Langford centre. This position is a great prospect if you are considering a career in teaching or childcare or have previous experience in these fields.

Applicants must be available on

Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 6:30pm; and

Saturday from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

Qualifications
Excellent math skills.
High school diploma. Some university education is preferred.
Mature, dependable and detailed oriented.
Enjoy working with young students.

Specific Responsibilities
Mark math homework.
Support students by coaching and guiding them to develop independent study skills.
Maintain a neat and qualified work area. Assist with cleaning and organizing the classroom.
Familiarize with the centre routine.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
