This position involves providing intake support, crisis intervention, and supervision at the shelter, where respect and dignity for residents are paramount. Connecting youth to resources and encouraging self-discovery while upholding anti-oppression principles is essential. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake and orientation for recent residents
Supervise daily routines and community engagement
Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling
Respond to emergencies and ensure safety protocols
Document resident interactions and maintain case files Requirements:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in social work
2+ years’ experience with marginalized youth
First Aid/CPR certification required
Crisis prevention training certificate required
