Transit invites applications for a full time Transit Mechanic “A” position, emphasizing mechanical maintenance at the journeyperson level. You will diagnose issues, conduct repairs, and contribute your unique skills. This role supports our commitment to enhancing community well-being while providing a consistent work schedule. Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical overhauls and repairs on transit vehicles
Diagnose electronic systems using relevant computer software
Submit reports and maintain accurate maintenance records




Conduct gas and electrical welding tasks as required
Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on various tasks Requirements:
Red Seal Trades Qualification in Commercial Transport Mechanics
Minimum five years relevant mechanical experience
Class 2 or 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
Current knowledge of diesel engine control systems
