Cenovus is seeking a Wapiti Operator to enhance our Northern Corridor Operations team. This full-time role involves optimizing the operation of oil batteries and ensuring safety in Grande Prairie. As an experienced operator, you will manage various responsibilities including troubleshooting, production enhancement, and compliance with safety protocols.
Your role will involve supervision of contractors and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Robust technical skills and leadership in safety practices are key for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance pipeline and compression system efficiency
- Troubleshoot and optimize oil well operations
- Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance
- Lead contractor activities during various projects
- Input production and downtime data accurately
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant oil and gas experience
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Knowledge of oil treating and compression systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
