Weu2019re looking for a Certified Red Seal Millwright to join our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) mill located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Meadow Lake employees 155 employees and safely and sustainably produces 730 million square feet of OSB every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Experience working as a Millwright or Machinist with a valid Millwright Interprovincial Ticket.

- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems.

- Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Commitment to working safely.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

- Good organizational and planning skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) – preferably JD Edwards.

- Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

In this role you will:

- Work with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systems involved in the manufacturing process.

- Keep our systems running smoothly by performing preventative and predictive maintenance. This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
