- Direct and develop Buyer 1 staff performance
- Provide guidance on procurement policies and bids
- Ensure the integrity and functionality of purchasing systems
- Facilitate training sessions for internal clients
- Liaise with legal and risk management on procurement matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years as a senior Buyer in the public sector
- SCMP certification ideal
- Robust presentation and report writing capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian procurement laws
