Lead communications strategy at Six Nations Polytechnic, focusing on brand promotion and community engagement in a hybrid role. You will implement impactful communications that align with SNP’s strategic goals. Under the supervision of the Dean, you will coordinate SNP’s communication activities and oversee both internal and external messaging.
Your role encompasses managing digital platforms, creating communications materials, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance SNP’s community presence and institutional priorities. Key Responsibilities:
Manage SNP’s digital communications platforms and social media
Develop and distribute newsletters, web content, and promotional materials
Collaborate on government advocacy and communication initiatives
Coordinate media relations and external communications efforts
Supervise communications staff and coordinate operational support Requirements:
Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
Minimum 3 years of communications experience, preferably in Indigenous contexts
Supervisory experience or project coordination considered an asset
Proficient in digital communication management
Valid Criminal Background Check required Drive effective communication strategies and community partnerships at Six Nations Polytechnic while embodying the institution's values.
