Elevate First Nations health outcomes as a Nurse in Charge in Tahltan, British Columbia. Lead comprehensive nursing services and promote community health in a part time role. As the Nurse in Charge, you'll spearhead nursing functions emphasizing primary care, public health, and community well-being.
This role requires two years of nursing experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, ideally with additional training in specialties like public health or mental health. Your leadership will guide community health teams in effectively delivering care based on community needs. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in nursing services at the community level
Coordinate public health, primary care, and home care initiatives
Promote health education and disease prevention methodologies
Guide community healthcare teams in skill development
Support urgent, emergent, and palliative care initiatives Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Current registration with BCCNM
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
Remote-certified with BCCNM or pursuing certification Lead community health with empathy, knowledge, and nursing excellence at the First Nations Health Authority.
