Lead the Alberta Human Rights Commission as the Executive Director in Edmonton. This full time position focuses on strategic leadership, governance, and effective business operations. Reporting directly to the Chief of the Commission, you will oversee project management, budget forecasting, and compliance reviews.
Your hands-on leadership and relationship-building skills will be crucial in collaborating with diverse stakeholders. As part of the senior leadership team, you’ll offer strategic direction to meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for commission operations
Support the Director with governance and policy planning
Manage budgets, forecasting, and compliance reviews
Foster positive relationships with stakeholders
Ensure service excellence and operational effectiveness Requirements:
Extensive senior business management experience
Autonomous leadership with decision-making abilities
Effective communication and relationship-building skills
Background in strategic business planning
