Lead regulatory initiatives at the Nova Scotia Regulator of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology as the Deputy Registrar. As the Deputy Registrar, you will report directly to the Registrar/Executive Director, managing registration processes and regulatory programs.
Your leadership will support strategic projects, ensuring alignment with NSRASLP's operational goals. The ideal candidate combines regulatory decision-making experience with an understanding of healthcare frameworks and robust governance skills. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee registration applications, renewals, and complex cases
Develop Standards of Practice and revise regulatory documents
Support governance development initiatives and Board committees
Lead projects enhancing regulatory processes and public protection
Represent NSRASLP at forums for harmonized regulatory practices Requirements:
Proven regulatory decision-making experience
Background in policy development and legislation interpretation
Solid project management and governance support skills
Technical proficiency with complex databases and digital tools
