We are hiring a reliable, Full-Time Class 1 Local Tractor Driver for our night shift team. You will be responsible for running local routes primarily between Surrey and Delta, keeping our freight moving efficiently.
This is a night shift position with a 9:00 PM start time (with room to adjust earlier based on operational needs).
Key Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer unit for dedicated local runs between Surrey and Delta.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment.
- Back up and maneuver trailers safely into loading docks and facilities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean commercial driving abstract.
- Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Strong backing and local navigation skills in the Lower Mainland (specifically Surrey and Delta corridors).
- Bonus: Experience with Seaspan ferry and barge procedures is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently during night hours and handle routine coupling/uncoupling tasks.
- Professional communication and punctuality.
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
