Class AZ Flatbed Driver – Local Position (Training Provided)

Bakke's Trucking Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Class AZ Flatbed Driver to join our team for local work based out of the North Bay area.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and individuals who are new to the trucking industry. We are willing to provide training to the right candidate who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in transportation.

Requirements

· Valid Ontario Class AZ Driver's Licence

· Clean Driver's Abstract

· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

· Ability to work safely and follow company procedures

· Professional attitude and good communication skills

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

· Safely operate company equipment on local routes

· Secure loads using straps, chains, and other required securement devices

· Tarp loads as required to protect freight during transport





· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections

· Complete required paperwork and electronic logs

· Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations

· Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries

Preferred Qualifications

· Reside in or near the North Bay, Ontario area

· Previous transportation, construction, farming, logging, or heavy equipment experience is considered an asset but is not required

· Physically capable of handling load securement equipment and tarps

· Physical Requirements

· Ability to climb on trailers safely

· Ability to lift and handle tarps, chains, and straps

· Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
