Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services LifemarkHealth Group is seeking a personable and confident Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our stellar team virtually at the Lifemark Physiotherapy Nordel Way Surrey, BC . Established in 1986 as the province’s first private practice occupational therapy company, we have since expanded our services to include physiotherapy, kinesiology, and clinical counselling. Our site boasts a robust referral network and several specialty programs, with an opportunity for growth.
This individual will be involved in the Customized Rehabilitation program, formerly referred to as Occupational Rehab. Communicate effectively with staff members, clients, employers, referral sources, family members and other counsellors Psychological case management input and direction to the therapy teams pertaining to initial assessment, treatment planning, clients' progress, conflict resolution,
stakeholder discussions and problem solving, and discharge planning Quality reporting and communication Master’s Degree in Counselling / Clinical Psychology Minimum of 3 months of experience in return to work / physical rehabilitation setting Professional registration as a full RCC with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) or CCC with the CCPA, with authorisation for independent practice Ability to use creative and structured approaches to assist clients to self-manage Experience with chronic pain and post concussive symptoms are an asset While our company is focused on helping our clients, as a group we are equally focused on the health and wellness of our staff.
