You will handle your own files from start to finish, gaining invaluable experience while working closely with experienced Senior Lawyers on complex cases. This role requires a solid foundation in civil law and insurance defense to navigate various legal challenges effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Review and draft initial pleadings for current cases
Attend case conferences, mediations, and trials
Conduct due diligence and gather relevant facts
Research applicable laws and identify legal issues
Provide legal approvals and advice on company documents Requirements:
Law Degree and member of the Law Society of Ontario
2+ years in a similar role at an insurance defense firm
Solid analytical and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
