Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sushi Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi for every takeout order. Your expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety will ensure every order meets our standards of excellence. Duties
Prepare a variety of sushi items with precision, artistry, and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, assembling ingredients, and garnishing plates
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining setting for guests and staff
Assist in managing ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and proper storage of seafood and other perishables
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient food service during busy hours while maintaining high quality standards
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations




Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including equipment maintenance and waste disposal

Experience
Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with a focus on sushi or Japanese cuisine
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of raw seafood and perishable ingredients
Experience working in the food industry or kitchen workplace is highly desirable
Strong understanding of serving standards and customer service principles to ensure guest satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
