Job Overview
We are seeking a PART-TIME experienced and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our dedicated pet care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, exceptional grooming skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Senior Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' pets look and feel their best while maintaining a secure and positive workplace for both animals and staff.

Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs of all sizes and breeds
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering professional grooming advice
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas in accordance with health standards
Assist in training and mentoring junior groomers or apprentices to ensure high-quality service delivery
Handle heavy lifting of grooming equipment or large dogs safely and efficiently
Monitor pet behavior during grooming sessions to ensure safety and comfort for all animals
Manage appointment schedules effectively to maximize client satisfaction and operational efficiency

Qualifications




Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a robust portfolio of grooming styles and techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about grooming needs and care tips
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy dogs or equipment
Knowledge of animal behavior, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in pet grooming environments
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and attention to detail
Certification from a recognized pet grooming program is preferred but not required

Pay: $22.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
