Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands on Floor Manager to help open our current restaurant, Navvy House, in West Vancouver. Working closely with our GM, AGM, and Ops Team, you will help build the front of house ahead of opening this fall, then oversee daily service once we launch. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a recent restaurant from the start, with a focus on strong guest experience and a well run floor.

Duties
Assist the General Manager with pre-opening setup, including staffing plans, service standards, and floor procedures.
Recruit, hire, and train front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
Lead the floor during service, ensuring guests receive attentive, consistent hospitality.
Manage staff schedules and daily opening and closing procedures.
Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, seamless service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.




Support inventory management for front of house supplies and bar stock.
Conduct regular staff check ins and training to maintain service standards.

Requirements
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Experience with restaurant openings is an asset.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Experience with scheduling and inventory management.
A passion for hospitality and building a strong team culture.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
