Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform duties in a safe manner with focus on accident prevention. With limited supervision, operate a variety of previously set-up CNC machines and off line equipment to machine quality parts.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK PROCEDURES:

· Maintain work area in a clean, safe and orderly manner by ensuring 5S of your work station

· To provide training to newly hired operators

· Follow all procedures and responsibilities and accurately completing appropriate paperwork

· Identify irregularities in parts and non conformance to quality standards

· Check own parts to inspection sheets

· Operate a variety of previously set up machines to machine parts

· Change tools,



inserts and adjust offsets as required to maintain tolerances,

verifying to inspection sheet or first off as necessary.

· Obtain first-off on repetitive work orders in assigned area of machines (with approved information)

· Obtain tools and inserts from tool crib as required

· A fully trained Level # 2 operator may train junior operators

· Assist with minor troubleshooting (fixtures/tooling)

· Communicate within workgroups

· Work within or exceed time production standards

· Assist with other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Standing for most of shift

· Repetitive work

· Continually exposed to various lubricants and metal working fluids

· Flexibility to work overtime on short notice

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Experience:
- CNC Machine : 3 years (preferred)
