We are excited to be growing our Back Of House team to work in the heart of Kitsilano at our energetic production kitchen. La Bise bakery specializes in a french pastry called canelé – and we also create a variety of delicious treats like beignets, brownies, and more!

We're Looking For Someone Who Has/Is :
A strong command of the english language
Baking and pastry diploma or equivalent experience
Enthusiasm for our exquisite pastries and providing exceptional results
A FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate or will get certified promptly
Both collaborative and can work alone without supervision
Able to self-organize and prioritize
Highly detail-oriented
Applies feedback to learn from mistakes
Playful, creative, and dedicated spirit
Must has consistent, reliable transportation to Kitsilano due to early start times

About The Role:
Master a variety of skills to be an essential part of the bakery’s success as a baking generalist ready for any challenge.
Learn to bake canelés to the highest standard. They are a technical titan to master and take time and patience and an acute attention detail.




Collaborate with Kitchen Helpers and fellow Prep Staff to maintain efficient systems for optimal use of resources.
