Campbell Construction (2021) Ltd. is looking for a very experienced General Carpenter to join our team.

We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced carpenter who is productive and comfortable taking on a wide variety of work.

This position is ideal for someone who can assess what needs to be done, determine the best way to install, repair and complete the job.

This individual must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Work may vary from day to day and may include:
General carpentry, repairs and maintenance
Good hand and power tool skills
Framing and backing experience
Basic concrete forming skills
Installation of exterior and interior doors and frames (Wood and Metal)
Hardware, doors and washroom accessories
Millwork and countertop installation
Casings, baseboards, window trim and crown mouldings
Drywall repairs, patching and finishing
Painting
Deficiency repairs and warranty work
Maintaining a clean work place

What We're Looking For
10–15 years minimum hands-on carpentry and general construction experience
Robust knowledge of both rough and finish carpentry and general construction
Experience with drywall, patching,



trim, doors and general repairs
Ability to complete a job from start to finish in a timely manner
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing a variety of small tasks
Able to work in occupied spaces and around finished construction when required
Valid driver's licence with a protected driving record
Reliable and dependable
Able to work safely and follow site requirements
Willing and able to work after hours if required at times

About the Position

This is not a position focused on one specific area of carpentry. We are looking for a versatile, experienced carpenter who can handle the miscellaneous repairs, deficiencies, alterations and construction work that comes up across our projects.

The successful candidate will use a company van to complete work and move from site to site as required.

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
