Super Save Group is looking for an experienced, safety-minded Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. Since 1977, we’ve built our business around secure, reliable service, and we expect the same commitment from our team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial vehicles and equipment. This includes:
Performing inspections, preventative maintenance, brake work, oil changes and repairs
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment
Reading work orders, manuals and manufacturer specifications
Keeping equipment clean, lubricated and in valuable working condition
Completing service reports and communicating with dispatch and the team
Following all safety policies, regulations and environmental requirements

What We’re Looking For
2nd or 3rd year Heavy Duty Mechanic apprentice through to Journeyman certification
2+ years of Heavy Duty Mechanic experience
Class 3 or 5 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract (Class 3 is an asset)
Experience with Cummins INSITE or similar diagnostic software is an asset
Welding experience is an asset
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Experience in the disposal industry is an asset




Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
