We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista / Cafe Attendant to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our café, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You’ll be responsible for operating POS systems, managing food and drink orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity.
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding service.
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Experience
Previous 1+ years of barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Experience in serving, cashiering, or food preparation within the food industry is desirable.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
