Duties
Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and shipment documentation




Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding status, delays, or any issues encountered on the road.

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in driving heavy trucks and handling long-distance routes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients
Ability to stay focused during long hours on the road and handle unexpected situations calmly
Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and prolonged driving periods
