Vedder Steel is a family owned and operated Steel Fabrication shop that has been in briskness for 45 years. VSL is looking to hire a permeant junior drafter.

Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D animations and drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and designers
Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine concepts and designs
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings
Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations
Review and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from the design team
Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and related materials

Requirements:
Proficiency in 2D animation software and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Animate)
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications




Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Robust problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Solid understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards

Note: Experience in building or construction industry is a plus, but not required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
