A hotel in Richmond, BC is seeking a full time, professional Night Auditor to join our team. The position available is for Wednesday to Sunday nights, from 11 pm - 7 am.

Wage:

-Probationary period first three months: $18.25, after three months: $19 based on performance.

Job Responsibilities:

-Audits all charges and postings, correcting work as necessary.

-Prepares daily, month end and other reports as required.

-Check guests in and out of the hotel in an efficient, courteous and qualified manner.

-Process all payments according to hotel requirements.

-Courteously answer inquires and accepts reservations, both in person and by telephone.

-Promptly address and resolve all guest concerns or complaints, logging complaints and referring to Supervisor or General Manager when necessary.

-Communicate relevant information to hotel associates at shift changes.

-Maintain a friendly, professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

-Assume the role of Manager on Duty during shift.





Requirements:

-Must be willing and have the ability to work overnight shifts (11pm to 7am)

-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

-Two years of experience providing service directly to the public. Previous night audit, accounting or hospitality diploma preferred.

-This position requires basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and accurately.

-Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

-Communicate effectively with guests and hotel associates, both verbally and in written form.

-Manage one's time with minimal supervision.
