Position Overview:

JDS Energy & Mining Inc is looking to fill Underground Mining roles at a Mine in Central British Columbia. A variety of roles are available for interviews including: Jumbo Operators, Bolter Operators, and Construction Miners. Successful applicants will have experience underground, and on equipment such as Bolters, McLeans, and Jacklegs in addition to other mining tasks as directed by the Underground Shift Supervisor.

The successful applicants will ideally have the following qualifications:
Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the mining industry
A solid passion for safety and a proactive attitude towards ensuring safety is an employee's priority
Preferred experience operating two or more of the following list , haul truck, Scoop, Telehandlers,



IT(frontend loader), Scissor Lift
Candidates will be participating in a large variety of Underground Construction activities including Sump Construction, Dewatering Infrastructure, Conveyor Installations, Cable Bolting, as well as standard mine services including water, air and ventilation installations.

All candidates must be willing to undergo mandatory drug and Alcohol screening, and complete all pre-access training prior to arrival on site.

Job Types: Full time, Fly-In/Fly-Out, Permanent

Pay: $23.50-$31.00 per hour
