Duties
Assist with the preparation and display of aquatic fish and plants, ensuring all items are handled with care.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers by answering questions about products and offering recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including counters, display cases, and storage spaces, adhering to strict sanitation protocols




Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during cashiering duties
Support inventory management by restocking displays, checking product freshness, and rotating stock as needed
Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales prospects

Experience
Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and transparent communication abilities
Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing, and transaction accuracy
Previous pet industry experience will help you excel in this fast-paced role
