Signature Smiles Dental Studio is a patient-centered, technology-forward dental clinic located in the heart of Oakville. Led by Dr. Ayesha Jeelani, our team is dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive care in a warm and welcoming environment!
We are currently looking to expand our specialist services by welcoming a part-time Associate Oral Surgeon/GP specializing in oral surgery to our multidisciplinary team.
Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dentist to work 1–2 Fridays per month in a modern, well-equipped facility. You will collaborate with Dr. Jeelani to provide exceptional surgical care to our growing patient base.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform surgical procedures including: complex extractions, immediate dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth extractions (impacted and non-impacted), & oral pathology evaluation and biopsy.
Conduct patient consultations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Jeelani.
Interpret radiographic imaging.
Provide appropriate sedation (local and/or IV,
if credentialed).
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and informed consent records.
Educate patients on procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
Comply with RCDSO regulations, infection control protocols, and clinic standards.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO)
Certified in BLS and ACLS
Strong communication and surgical skills
Availability to work 1–2 Fridays per month
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working on complex cases, with an older (70+) patient base.
