Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and energetic Journeyman Hairstylist to join our agile team! As a key member of our salon, you will deliver exceptional hair styling services, provide personalized consultations, and create a welcoming setting for clients. Your expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling will help clients look and feel their best. Duties
Perform professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ requests and providing expert advice
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure safety and hygiene
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
Communicate clearly with clients about service options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations
Stay updated on the latest hair trends,



techniques, and salon offerings to provide innovative solutions

Qualifications
Valid journeyman hairstylist license or certification in good standing
Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
Strong communication skills to effectively discuss styles and recommend products or services
Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining a positive client experience
Experience managing front desk tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling transactions is preferred
