Join our energetic logistics team as a Truck Dispatcher, where you'll play a vital role in coordinating freight movement and ensuring smooth operations across our supply chain network. Responsibilities
Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily deliveries and pickups
Plan efficient routes and schedules
Communicate with drivers throughout their shifts
Coordinate delivery times with customers
Monitor shipments and ensure deliveries are completed on schedule
Handle delays, route changes, and other delivery issues
Provide drivers with necessary instructions and information
Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and driver activities
Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates
Ensure drivers follow company procedures and safety requirements




Work closely with management and other team members to keep operations running smoothly
Respond quickly to unexpected issues and find practical solutions

Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in truck dispatching or transportation/logistics
Knowledge of trucking operations and delivery procedures
Experience coordinating drivers, routes, and schedules
Strong communication skills with drivers
Can speak, understand and write explicit English
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Experience with freight coordination and shipment tracking
Experience tracking containers with CN and CP Railways
Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure
