We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Kitchen Closer to join our vibrant food service team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently closing the kitchen at the end of each day, ensuring all food preparation and safety standards are met. Duties
Safely and thoroughly clean all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils at the end of each shift
Properly store leftover ingredients and prepared foods following food safety guidelines
Assist with final food preparation tasks to ensure all orders are completed accurately before closing
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the kitchen to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with safety standards
Restock supplies and organize storage areas to prepare for the next day’s operations
Document any maintenance or safety issues encountered during closing procedures
Requirements
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of kitchen operations
Strong understanding of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and cleaning thoroughly
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is preferred
Prior experience in food industry roles involving serving or food preparation is highly desirable
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all closing activities
