Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, test and calibrate valves, switches and measurement

devices.
Inspect and when needed repair vales, switches and

measurement devices according to manufacturers’

specifications.
Install stainless steel tubing for chemical pump injection lines.
Develop an understanding of process in oilfield gas plants, oil

batteries and wellsites.
Work with a variety of pneumatic, electrical and electronic

testing instruments to measure and control variables such as

pressure, flow, temperature level, composition
Test accuracy of flow meters, pressure gages, temperature

indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or

controlling instruments.
Read and interpret P&ID;’s and Isometrics.
A demonstrated ability to work safe.

Work Conditions
Full time hours (40 – 50 hrs a week)
Versatile schedule
Compensation varies depending on candidate and years of





experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
Must be willing to travel to work sites

Requirements
Currently indentured into the instrumentation trade
Extensive experience in the construction, repair, and alteration of

instrument tubing
Must have valid First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform
CSTS, PST and/or CSO
Must have own tools
Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate

leadership
Must have experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Must have a robust work ethic and be reliable
Canadian citizen or permanent resident requirement
Valid driver's license with a clean record

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
