Askew’s Foods Pharmacy in Salmon Arm is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced workplace, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and processing
Receive and enter prescription information accurately
Manage prescription pick-up and cash transactions
Maintain inventory levels, receive orders, and stock shelves
Assist with merchandising and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy
Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion




Support the pharmacy team with daily administrative duties

Qualifications:
Previous pharmacy assistant experience is an asset but not required
Robust customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with computers and data entry
Knowledge of the KROLL Pharmacy computer system is a definite asset
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Certification or diploma in pharmacy assistance or related field preferred
