In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by assisting with equipment setup, material handling, and site safety. Duties
Assist with rigging, lifting, and securing skids using cranes, forklifts, or other machinery
Support the operation of loaders, HD forklifts and cranes to facilitate project tasks
Perform general labour duties such as site cleanup, material transport, and debris removal to maintain a secure work workplace
Help with the setup and breakdown of site, including loading and unloading supplies
Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors
Support skilled operators by providing them with tools, materials, or assistance as needed




Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote efficiency and safety

Qualifications
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with heavy equipment is preferred
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a plus
Experience with rigging, loading, unloading of trailers, crane operation, is highly desirable
Construction experience or familiarity with manufacturing industry sites is advantageous
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn new skills on the job
Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks in various weather conditions
