Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice
Manage multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and answering patient inquiries promptly
Verify patient information using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting insurance information and updating medical records
Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records, and handling administrative tasks efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
Handle correspondence, faxing, scanning,
and filing documents securely in compliance with privacy regulations
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Epic or Dentrix
Proven office experience with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within healthcare settings is desirable
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently and manage busy front desk activity
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic understanding of medical terminology and office procedures is advantageous
